Institute QuantiVision has originated from a ZONmw initiative, called Innovative Medical Devices Initiative, to establish regional Centres of Research Excellence, where healthcare, business and science collaborate on the development of new medical devices that enable future health care at high standards, in an aging population with decreasing numbers of working forces.

Mission Statement

The mission of Institute QuantiVision is to develop medical imaging devices, software and protocols to enhance the efficiency, efficacy and economy of healthcare in the Netherlands, with focus on oncology and neurology. Need for research and development

Traditionally, clinical research focuses on subjective evaluation of the physiological meaning of the shades of gray constituting an image. Quantitative analysis of combined multi modal images provides a more objective basis for clinical decision-making.
